COD: Black Ops censored in Japan
Call of Duty: Black Ops will be censored in Japan, Square Enix has announced.
The news came after the Japanese rating body awarded Black Ops an 'adults only' CERO-Z certificate.
According to the publisher's Japanese website (and reported by Kotaku), gamers there will no longer bear witness to the "brutal or grotesque portrayal" of limbs being blown off.
Happily, bloodthirsty gamers in the rest of the world will still be able to get their gore fix when the unedited version arrives on 9th November.
