Creepy Watson to return in Sherlock Holmes' Crimes & Punishments

Publish date: 2022-01-14

Back in 2008 Youtube user tdous made history with a brilliant horror comedy video entitled "Creepy Watson," which had some fun with the peculiar AI in Sherlock Holmes Nemesis. In order to ensure that Watson was always following the player, developer Frogwares made it so he'd teleport behind them. When set to the right music, this lead to some hilarious hijinks as Watson would constantly startle the player by eerily appearing right in front of them.

As the Creepy Watson video has been watched over 2 million times, Frogwares knew it had a meme to live up to and as such has decided to give players the option to place "Creepy Watson" in the upcoming Sherlock game Crimes & Punishments. See the original Creepy Watson video below followed by the new one in Crimes & Punishments

Crimes & Punishments is the first Sherlock game to be built in Unreal Engine 3. It will feature a redesigned cast and is due out later this year on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
