Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.21 out now, stops police spawning behind the player's back on roofs

Publish date: 2023-04-19

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.21 is out now on PC, consoles and Stadia.

It makes a long list of fixes, including for an issue where, after the player commits a crime on the roof of a building, NCPD officers would spawn behind the player's back.

Remember, update 1.2 tackled police reaction times with an increase to their spawn radius for when a player commits a crime, among other things.

The focus here is on further improving the stability of CD Projekt's embattled sci-fi adventure, and fixing common issues that could block progression.

It's been a tumultuous time for CD Projekt following the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk 2077's upcoming online portion is no longer standalone, and the developer has reorganised to develop multiple projects at the same time.

Cyberpunk remains off the PlayStation Store, and carries a performance warning on Xbox.
