Dark Souls director now president of From Software
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki has become the new president of From Software.
As reported by DengekiOnline (via Gematsu), the studio's previous president, Naotoshi Zin, has been shifted to a new advisory role.
Miyazaki joined From Software in 2004 where he made his directorial debut with 2006's Armored Core 4. He then made a much bigger name for himself with Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, but he stepped down from the director's chair with Dark Souls 2, where he only oversaw its production from afar.
It's not clear what he's been working on, though there are rumours he's been developing a Souls-like PS4 game codenamed Project Beast.
