Jurassic Green farm: How to get Jurassic Green in Destiny 2

Unlike the aforementioned weapons, which are all possible drops during Nightfall Strikes, the Jurassic Green is exclusive to Festival of the Lost in 2021.

The limited time event offers a great chance to obtain this new weapon fairly easy, although it will require some more of your time to get the god roll.

You can obtain a starter drop just by following the Gone but not Forgotten quest steps from Eva Levante in the Tower. This provides a glimpse of its potential, but don't expect to obtain a god roll right away, as it seems this first drop always comes with the same perks - which aren't exactly extraordinary.

To get more Jurassic Greens, you have to take part in the Haunted Lost Sectors activity. You have a chance of being rewarded with a Jurassic Green roll once you open the chest at the end of the run. As with most loot, drops aren't guaranteed.

That being said, there is a way to increase your chances. Before you run the activity, make sure to have Spectral Pages in your inventory. After you have converted these into Manifested Pages by defeating Headless Ones during the Haunted Lost Sector, this will increase weapon drops at the end of the run.

As for a farm, it's more of a case of having as many Spectral Pages in your inventory as possible before heading in, so it's that you will need to farm before doing the Haunted Lost Sector. As mentioned on our Book of the Forgotten explainer, Expunge quests from Season of the Splicer is the best way to get a high number of Pages quickly.

Ultimately, doing two of these then a Haunted Lost Sector is the best way to farm Jurassic Green rolls.

As a bonus, if you took part of Festival of the Lost 2020 and you still have the Ascendant Lens in your inventory, go ahead and talk to Mara Sov. She will offer you a Bottomless Goody Bag which, amidst 21 Spectral Pages and other rewards, including three Jurassic Green rolls.

Jurassic Green god roll recommendation in Destiny 2

Jurassic Green is a weapon with random rolls - meaning each time you get one, the barrel, rounds and perks will be randomised.

As per usual, coming up with a 'best' combination of rolls and perks is rather tricky since it will vary depending on your taste and the modes that you have in mind for the weapon. A few will be great for PvE, while others excel at PvP instead.

The community has baptized these 'god rolls' - mostly due to their sheer power and how they increase each weapon's capabilities even further, or compensate some weapons that might be lacking a buff to be optimal with the rest.

Here is our recommended Jurassic Green god roll in Destiny 2:

Let's start with the perks. Multikill Clip is a must have for this weapon. With it, reloading grants increased damage, which is based on the number of rapid kills you have obtained beforehand. This is useful for both PvP and PvE.

From here, we see Heating Up as a great option. With this, final blows increase accuracy and stability while also improving vertical recoil. This can be useful in both PvE and PvP.

For the magazine, the Ricochet Rounds is the go-to for PvP. It increases stability and range quite a bit, which can pair nicely with both of our barrel options.

In PvE, you're really going to push for Extended Mag. It comes with a decrease to reload speed, but this is compensated by adding +30 rounds to the Jurassic Green's magazine, which is quite hefty.

Lastly, you also have two choices for the barrel. Chambered Compensator comes with a cost to handling, but it's traded off by a bump to both stability and recoil.

If you're just looking for more stability without any cons, Polygonal Rifling is the one for you - just know that it's one of the most limited options you can pick for this category.

As per usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, ability to generate Orbs on multi-kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
