Destiny 2 The Sewers and the Botza Underground strategy
After you've dropped down the hole at the end the first encounter and collected your loot, you'll find yourself in the sewers. The sewers are a small maze of twists, turns, and lanterns.
As you start to navigate throughout the sewers, you'll notice that there are plenty of lights scattered throughout the encounter. These lights can be used as cookie crumbs, of sorts. After passing by you'll be able to flick them on and off to illuminate the road already travelled or signify the route you think is the correct way.
The general aim of the sewers is to progress throughout the area and make your way to the centre. You'll know that you are close when you see this room through this fencing (pictured above).
You won't be able get to this area through the tunnels alone, but you will be able to penetrate its walls through a cave carved in one of the walls. If you are finding the journey to be a bit slow, you can always use your sparrows to dart about the sewers to speed things up and a general rule of thumb is to follow the opened black armoury caches.
After you've reached the aforementioned central hole, it's a short sharp burst until you reach the start of the Bozta Underground. This is where the encounter really starts. The Botza Underground is a race to the finish line with a flaming servitor on your tail. It's fast, it's fun, it's fiery. And there's a secret chest.
When you are finally ready to look a flaming servitor in the eye and say no, you'll need to simultaneously punch the two pads at each side of the large door to start the encounter. Pick two members of your team to punch the panels and the other four should board their sparrows.
As soon as the pads activate, you'll have to fly through a series of tunnels with pitfalls, rotation gaps, and enemies. Make it to the end and punch two panels in the last room to close the door on the servitor, and that's the encounter done. Simple. Well, it's that simple if you don't want any juicy rewards.
The Sewers secret chest location
If you want to earn some extra gear from this encounter, you'll need to activate the eight secret switches throughout the Botza Underground. These switches can be activated by nudging the with your sparrow or in person. After you activate all eight, you will be notified that a new door has opened.
Here is the Sewer secret chest location:
Please note that it is impossible to hit all the switches alone as they are split between divergent paths, so a minimum of two sparrow riders will be required to unlock this chest.
This new door is located in the original ending point to the left. Players will need to pass through this door and continue upwards until the reach a series of jumps. From there it's onwards and upwards until you reach a series of jumping platforms that lead to a cave. If you or a member of your team can make it to this cave, the loot is yours.
This video by Mtashed shows this in closer detail:
Now that you've survived the Botza Underground, you'll need to straddle the pipes of Botza Midtown. This section is a simple jumping puzzle in which you'll scale a bunch of pipes in what looks like an aqueduct and progress through a series of caves.
Although the caves can be a bit mesmerising, it won't be long until you you reach another fall. Jump down here and progress through what looks like part of an armoury until you see an elevator door that's slightly ajar. Crouch through this door and then jump up towards another duo of panels that you will be required to punch to gain access to the final set of phases against Insurrection Prime.
