Ozmone Plain and Golmore Jungle
Giza Plains
It's now raining in Giza Plains, so the terrain is a little different and enemies are a little tougher. Make your way to Starfall Field and take the south exit; the exact route doesn't matter, but if you see a Storm Elemental wandering around, stay well away - using magic anywhere near it will cause it to attack, and at this point there's little you can do to defeat it.
Ozmone Plain
In the opening area, Field of Fallen Wings, head directly south; there are a lot of airborne enemies here so melee is ineffective and you'll need to used ranged attacks or magic. Exit to Switchback, keep to the left edge, and when you find an exit north head directly south to reach Haulo Green.
Head due south as far as you can to find a neutral Garif wandering around who will assist in fights. As he's fairly handy it's possibly worth spending some time here grinding - the Vipers will respawn fairly regularly so you should be able to get a level or two out of it without too much strain. When you're ready, head through the exit in the west.
Jahara
Use the save crystal, then talk to the guard near the bridge. After the cutscene cross the bridge into the village and talk to High-Chief Zayula on the top of the small slope to your right. Take the stick he gives you and hand it to War-Chief Spinelu. He can be found near the next bridge, so give him the stick and then meet with the Great-Chief at the top of the village.
Once the cutscene is over Larsa will rejoin you, and this time he's not going to run off at the first sign of trouble. He's still a great healer to have with you, so you may want to take this opportunity to do any Marks you may have been struggling with and generally level up a bit before proceeding.
When you're ready, head back out to Ozmone Plain.
Ozmone Plain
From Haulo Green head north to The Switchback, take the northern exit we used as a reference into Dagan Flats, then keep making your way east through Field of Light Winds onto Sunlit Path. Save at the crystal, then go east again.
Golmore Jungle
Once inside the jungle turn right at the first junction then take a left to grab the map from the urn, then make your way through the exit in the south east. The enemies here will largely be Panthers, Gargoyles, and Marlboros, but if you run across some flaming Hellhounds try and avoid engaging them as they'll shred you to pieces - Belias can be summoned to deal with them, but there's a chance they'll take down your summoning character before he's arrived.
In the next area follow the path until you find a blue barrier off to your right. Examine it and a cutscene will play, then a new path to Eruyt Village will open up.
Eryut Village
Save at the crystal, and pick up some supplies from the Moogle nearby - try and buy Black Belts for all your party members as they'll be invaluable in the upcoming fight, and you need to have at least one potion in your possession. Head to the far end of the village and talk to Mjrn, then once the cutscene is over leave the village as there's nothing else to do here.
Gomore Jungle
Retrace your steps to the Ozmone Plain.
Ozmone Plain
Save again, then talk to the Imperial soldier. Give him a potion, talk to him again and borrow his chocobo, then leave to the west. As you enter Field of Light Winds keep to your left and ride through the tall grass - the path is impassable on foot - and you'll reach the entrance to Henne Mines.

Henne mines and Tiamat boss fight
Henne Mines
As you walk down the passage you'll find a blue crystal switch to your left. Hit it, then head for the exit in the south west. Press the switch in the small cross-shaped room to swap gates again; a group of Jellies will drop from the ceiling, at which point you can either fight or flee - either way you'll need to take the exit on the east. Follow the path round to find an urn containing the map of the mines, then return to the junction and hit the switch again; if you killed the Jellies it'll be safe, but if you ran away they'll still be waiting for you.
Exit to the east and follow the curved passageway into the next area; there are a few bits of minor loot to be found if you want to explore the caves before moving through the exit in the north east.
Ignore the path to the east for now and head due north; the Tyranoxes here look terrifying, but they're all mouth and no trousers - just get rid of any Redmaws nearby first as they can use Joyous Soundwave to heal their allies. Exit through the north east door and follow the path round to the east and then south down the tunnel - the chests in this area are mimics, so don't get caught unawares!
In the next junction hit the switch. As before Jellies will pour in from the ceiling, but this time there are a lot more of them so if you struggled with the last batch don't even attempt these guys. Exit to the west back into the area with the train tracks and leave through the north door again - the switch in the last junction has now opened the exit to the north where you'll find a save crystal. Use it to heal, and teleport if you need supplies because there's a boss fight coming up.
Boss fight: Tiamat
Tiamat spams Disable, but if your party are all equipped with Black Belts it'll have no effect - Larsa may still get caught by it, so use Esuna to get him back into the action as his healing skills are very useful.
Physical attacks are your best bet against the beast, and using Decoy to get him to focus on your tank simplifies matters - his strategy seems to be to pick your party off one at a time, so while he's hitting the tank he'll be leaving everyone else more or less unscathed. Pummel away at him, but be ready with Regen or Cura - when his health drops to around 30% he'll bring out his Breath attack which hits for 450-550HP and inflictis Sap randomly. For the last 20% or so his defence increases, so once your attacks start dealing less damage a Quickening chain can help finish the fight.
Once the fight is over take a deep breath, but don't get too comfy - there's another boss fight just around the corner!
When you're all set, next up is part 7 of our Final Fantasy 12 The Zodiac Age walkthrough: Elder Wyrm, Stilshrine of Miriam, and Vinuskar, Mateus, and Judge Bergan boss fights.
