Fortnite Investigate mysterious claw marks explained
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Battle Pass grants you the chance to unlock a special Wolverine skin if you manage to complete a series of weekly challenges.
Your first challenge is to investigate the mysterious claw marks that have been appearing on the Fortnite map and herald the arrival of this famous mutant.
You only need to investigate three sets of claw marks and, if you do, you'll receive a Wolverine themed reward. After this you can complete the second challenge - finding the Loading Screen.
Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived! New additions include Reality Seeds and Saplings and riding animals, along with the new Battle Pass, characters collection and map changes. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Claw marks locations in Fortnite at a glance
There are three sets of mysterious claw marks that you need to investigate in Fortnite if you want to complete the first Wolverine weekly challenge.
All of these claw marks can be found in Weeping Woods, which is located in C5, C6, D5 and D6 on the Fortnite map.

Thankfully, you just need to look at the claw marks to complete this challenge, which means that you don't have to dedicate much match time to it.
Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived - bringing with it a new Battle Pass, character collection, map locations and Victory Umbrella! You can now ride animals, find Reality Seeds, and use the new Grapple Glove, and Victory Crowns have returned. Claw marks locations in Fortnite explained
You need to locate three sets of mysterious claw marks in Fortnite to complete the first Wolverine challenge. Luckily all of these claw marks are located in Weeping Wood, so you don't have to travel far to find each one.
Once you've reached Weeping Woods, the best place to begin your claw mark search is in the RV park, which is located in the south-eastern part of the woods.
Here you'll be able to find the claw marks on the side of the green RV.
For the second set of claw marks, you'll want to head to the pond that lies in the centre of Weeping Woods, north-west from the RV park.
You'll find the next set of claw marks on the rock sitting inside the pond itself.
To locate the third and final set of claw marks head towards the building directly north of the pond and, once you're there, run around the left-hand side.
You'll quickly come across a gap in the hedge lining the building, which will allow you to go beneath the left-hand balcony. There, next to a power generator, you'll find the third set of claw marks.
By finding this final set of claw marks, you'll have completed the first Wolverine challenge and will be rewarded with the Berserker Barrage! Spray.
Now you'll either have to wait till the next challenge, which involves finding a loading screen, or, if you're doing the challenges in bulk, simply move onto the next one.
