Publish date: 2022-04-07

Finding out where Taco Shop locations are is one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 3 rewards. Note you'll need to be a Battle Pass holder in order to undertake this challenge.

If you're just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can provide some helpful hints.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived! New additions include Reality Seeds and Saplings and riding animals, along with the new Battle Pass, characters collection and map changes. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

How visit Taco Shops in Fortnite works

For the Week 9 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:

Another on the list includes finding the Moisty Mire treasure map location.

Across the map are Taco Shops. You'll find these in a variety of key locations, but like forbidden dance locations, they are hard to spot from a distance.

Once you find these, you simply have to visit them, not unlike Ice Cream Truck locations from a previous week.

However, unlike other challenges, you must do this in a single match. Though this is more challenging than ticking them off when you can, it is easier to keep track of your progress.

But, as always, you need to complete the match in order for the challenge to be finished - quitting the match as soon as you collect it won't work.

Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived - bringing with it a new Battle Pass, character collection, map locations and Victory Umbrella! You can now ride animals, find Reality Seeds, and use the new Grapple Glove, and Victory Crowns have returned. If you're after a specific Battle Pass skin, then it's a good idea to know how to get XP fast.

Taco Shop locations in Fortnite

Though you need to locate three, thankfully there are several more across the map. They aren't easily visible from the Battlebus, so a map showing their positions comes in handy:

Thanks to niitq on the Fortnite subreddit for the map.

As the above map shows, they are in or near the following locations:

It's worth reiterating you must visit three in a single match. So which do you go for, with the assumption many other players will be doing the same?

Tilted Towers is the game's notorious hot spot, so while avoiding those on that side of the map could be a good shout, it's also the three closest together.

This video shows a route between each three on the west side of the map, allowing you to speed to each one quickly:

If you want to ignore Tilted Towers entirely, then you'll have to go for at least one of the other two on that side of the map, then head east for the final two.

Another consideration is where the circle is for wherever you start your run. Going towards locations outside where the circle will be could work well, as those playing the match will going in the opposite direction.

With a finite amount of locations and everyone wanting to complete this challenge, it's likely each location will be populated for the first week - so if you can hold off from finishing this for a little while, that might help.
