GTA Online update reveals "gigantic" shared social space to show off your cars
Two days after releasing its summer update for Red Dead Online, Rockstar has announced its next summer update for GTA Online.
The update, due on 20th July, introduces the Los Santos Tuners, an underground car meet featuring "a gigantic, shared social space" plus Tuner-based missions and races.
New races include the self-explanatory Street Race series, the Pursuit series, with sparsely placed checkpoints for players to find their own routes, and Sprint, a point-to-point race in freemode.
It also introduces the LS Car Meet, a shared social space where players can bring and show off their custom cars, race fellow players and even "link up with shady contacts looking for skilled drivers and a chance at easy money".
With the LS Car Meet comes a new membership where players can sample test rides on a test track without interference from pedestrians or police.
Members will also get to compete in rotating prize ride challenges for the opportunity to win a prize ride and get access to shops including a Merch Shop, Tattoo Shop, and a Modding Area.
