Hollow Knight: Silksong headed to Xbox Game Pass day one

Publish date: 2023-01-18

UPDATE 13/6/22: Silksong is due out in the next 12 months, according to Microsoft.

"Everything you're seeing today is playable over the next 12 months," reads a tweet from the official Xbox account. When asked by a fan if that included Silksong, Xbox replied "That's exactly what we said".

Hopefully we can expect more details, including a release date, in the near future.

That's exactly what we said.

ORIGINAL STORY 12/6/22: Hollow Knight sequel Silksong is headed to Xbox Game Pass day one.

Shown at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, the game still doesn't have a firm release date but fresh footage was shown.

The game was originally announced for Switch and PC, but now it's confirmed to come to Xbox too.

Players will take the role of Hornet instead of the nameless Knight, providing a whole host of new abilities that use the power of silk.

The new gameplay showed a glimpse of bosses and areas Hornet will fight through.
