Red PlayStation 3 Slim 320GB console hits UK

The red PlayStation 3 launches in the UK next month.

The previously Japan-exclusive console is the slim model, and comes with a 320GB HDD and a DualShock 3 Wireless Controller. On Amazon it's £250. On Play.com it's £240. It launches on 4th May. Images are below.

Sony UK told Eurogamer this afternoon retailers received the go ahead to list the red PS3 yesterday, and so it should pop up in other shops at their convenience.

But what of the blue PS3, still Japan-only? Is that coming to the UK? Alas, no. Sony UK isn't interested. For shame!
