Yooka-Laylee World 5 boss Planette can be found by boat inside Galleon Galaxy's Extended World.

After the rather difficult World 4 boss INEPT, Planette is a lot more straightforward - but still has one or two tricks up her sleeve.

How to reach the World 5 boss in Galleon Galaxy

The boss at the far end of the area, reached by boat, after you extend the world. Transform using Mollycool and turn a 45 degrees right, and you should see a collection of molten obstacles you can destroy in the distance, underneath a large purple structure in the sky.

Planette boss strategy

This is one of the more straightforward bosses in the game. You must counter the elemental attacks coming your way with one of your own, blowing up the craters (so use ice on flame throwers, fire on ice, and the cannonball Triangle / Y on Xbox attack on the middle, fire-based hard projectiles).

When you blow up a crater, less projectiles will come your way, so each time opt for a side crater, and when it's destroyed, which in close so other projectiles can't hit you, and attack the rest from the side.

After all are destroyed, volcanic rocks will rain from above. Swim in a large circle to avoid them as they fall, and expect them to fall as you do a second wave of taking down craters. You'll hear and see them erupt, so try to break away from attacking and evade before continuing again.

The very final part has the planet spitting flaming rocks directly at you. Evade a wave of these by going from left to right, and after they end (5 or so rocks) then use your cannonball Triangle / Y attack at its face. Continue this until it's done for.
